Mother's Day... Without My Angel

In my profile I tell you that I'm a mom of 2 boys. What I don't tell you is that I'm also a mom of one little girl angel. And this is my first Mother's Day without her. I'm struggling - trying to stay focused on the positive. I DO have 2 healthy boys and a loving husband. My mom is still with me and I'm surrounded by beautiful caring friends. Still, I just have to shed a few tears because Sunday would be Alexis Kate's Dedication at church. Then, the following Saturday, May 14, we would be celebrating her first birthday. These milestones and celebrations are not taking place because baby Alexis was stillborn at 38 weeks on May 14, 2010. We will never forget you, baby girl! I miss you every single day. But, I WILL have a happy Mother's Day because I choose to! And Happy Mother's Day to you, dear readers.
